Haynes Motor Museum
Creating a smart new space to show off some stunning cars. When the famous Haynes Motor Museum, Yeovil completed its refurbishment they wanted to create a great natural looking outdoor area but needed an artificial grass that could stand up to some pretty high levels of wear. Namgrass was the obvious choice.
The challenge
This prestigious motor museum was having a £6 million refurbishment. It needed a smart lawn to match its new good looks, which had to be strong enough for cars to be displayed on.
The solution
We chose Fresh because its multi-toned fibres created the perfect backdrop for the cars. It was also very strong yet cost-effective. We also stabilised the area using bespoke base works.
The result
We completed the 1500 m2 project in time for the museum to reopen. The grass is performing perfectly under the most famous cars in the world.
