The Second Installation for William Morris, London
At Namgrass we believe that kids are never happier than when they are outside in the fresh air running, playing and living a healthy, active outdoor lifestyle. But that isn’t always possible given our wonderful British weather.
The challenge
If you’ve got a natural grassed area after just a few rainy lunch breaks, you’ll end up with a mud pit. When the staff at The William Morris School, wanted to add another artificial grass area to the schools grounds, having been so impressed with the first installation, Namgrass was the natural choice. This William Morris school wanted a safe and clean play area for their pupils. They wanted it to be fun and colourful but also to be of the highest standard.
The solution
Namgrass Living Colours was chosen because of its bright and colourful tones and hard wearing quality. We also created bespoke ground works and gradients to the schools specifications.
The result
We completed the 1,200 m2 space in just four weeks. The Namgrass was an instant hit with both teachers and children, and has been enjoyed ever since.
