Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the competition for a chance to win up to 80m2 of Namgrass artificial grass inc. installation and garden accessories. Entry to the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Therefore, please read these carefully.

Competition details

1) You can only enter the competition once.

2) No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

3) The promoter of the competition is Namgrass UK, Redcliffe, Bashley Road, New Milton, Hampshire, BH25 5RY.

4) The prize is only available to United Kingdom residents over the age of 18, with a permanent UK address. It is not open to the Namgrass UK agencies, its group companies or anyone else connected with the competition including employees.

5) The Namgrass artificial grass available for installation is either Eclipse 2017 or Elise.

6) To enter the competition, you must Like and Post a picture of your existing garden in the Comment box of the competition post on the Namgrass UK Facebook Page with the hashtag #NamgrassSummerReady. Posts that do not comply may be removed and will not be valid for entry.

7) You will automatically be entered into the weekly prize draw to win a garden accessory. If you win a prize and accept it, you will not be entered into the free Namgrass up to 80m2 inc. installation and garden accessories prize draw. However, you can forfeit the prize to be entered into the installation and garden accessories prize draw.

8) One entry will be selected at random from the entries. The decision of the judge is final and we will not enter into correspondence relating to the decision.

9) The start date and time of the competition is 7th June. The closing date and time is 1st August at 23:59pm. Entries received after the closing date will not be processed. The draw will take place on w/c 7th August.

10) No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

11) We reserve the right to modify the competition at any time without prior notice.

12) If you are entering on behalf of another person, you must get their permission first and proof of this may be requested. Please include their name with the submission.

13) Namgrass UK shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, unforeseen legislation or any other events beyond its control.

Winner details

14) The Winner will be notified via Namgrass UK Facebook before the 11th August and will be given details of how to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another winner.

15) We may ask the winner to provide proof of age, country of residence and/or proof of property ownership.

16) The name of the winner will be available upon request for 4 weeks after the winner has been notified by emailing [email protected]. The winner agrees to have their name and town/county of residence disclosed for this purpose.

About the installation

17) The winner is happy to provide a customer testimonial written and verbal which includes their name, town/city.

18) The winner is happy for the installation to be filmed from start to finish. Any footage taken – video and photography – are the property of Namgrass UK which may be used for promotional purposes.

19) The installation is subject to a site survey and the installation site must be approved by Namgrass UK and the Installer before commencing any work.

20) Installation is based on the Installers availability and the installation date will be agreed between the winner and the Installer. The installation must take place before October 2017. We will only use a Namgrass Approved Installer.

21) If the land is more than 80m2 the winner must pay additional for the Namgrass and materials. A quote will be provided to the Winner.

22) Entry to the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Welcome Lee!

Welcome

Please give a warm welcome to Lee Bennett, our new South East Sales Manager. Lee joins us with a wealth of experience in the landscaping industry and artificial grass installation and sales. He’s so passionate about it that he even carried out some landscaping jobs in his travels abroad!

He is a family man with 3 children to keep him busy but when he has some downtime he enjoys the classic Only fools & Horses, a bit of 90’s Brit pop and of course football!

Great Grass Giveaway winner

In celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday last year we ran a competition to transform your lawn and giveaway 90sqm of Namgrass. To enter you had to tell us your best gardening tip and the public did not disappoint! Our lucky winners Joan and Bob Carr from Southend-On-Sea told us:

“Every day when I go out into the garden to put washing out etc. I always go out to the garden and get the weeds out, check for dead flies, and check the fruit trees so more can grow quickly”.

Not only were they super excited about having their lawn transformed, it was perfect timing! Having recently moved from Stevenage to Southend-On-Sea they didn’t have time to focus on the garden as much as they’d like to. The new family home boasts three generations of the family from grandparents Joan and Bob to two young grandchildren, they really wanted a garden that was fuss-free and that the kids can enjoy all year round and not get muddy. Namgrass artificial grass was the perfect solution! The product we used was Meadow for its deeper colour and trying to keep it as close to the colour of their natural lawn. We had thousands of entries to the competition, each with a useful tip so we’ve compiled a few gardening tips for you to try. Rachael Buckley A lovely garden can be ruined by pests that munch on your plants! Deter them by sprinkling left over coffee grounds on your beds! Keeps the pests away and enriches the soil! Katy Hanson My top gardening tip: If you like wildlife to visit your garden. Bees and finches are particularly attracted to lavender! If you also ensure you have some daisies, as these are important as they have nectar in their centre. Claire Dainty My gardening tip is don’t stress about it, your garden is there to enjoy!! Do what you can and gets the kids involved! My son loves to pick fruit and veg.

Debbie Tunstall My top tip to keep your garden in bloom. Make sure you dead head morning and evening this helps the plant to produce more flowers. Carley Smith My mum’s top tip was ifyou’re not sure whether it’s a weed or a flower ask yourself do you like it? As long as you love your garden that’s all that matters. Karen Scammell I use pop bottles with the bottoms cut off to use as mini cloches for my sunflower seedlings and to keep the slugs off while they grow. Joanna Blyther My best tip is to invite everyone over for a ‘garden party ‘ and when they arrive get everyone to do some gardening for you.

Coleen Collins Let all flowers seed & then swap seedlings with friends & neighbours. Great variety of plants for free! Ruth Mears Put Vaseline around all your plant pots fancy containers, it stops the snails or other bugs from getting to your plants. Frances Newton My gardening tip is I keep my plants in pots which stops my 3 dogs digging them up and I can move them around which makes my garden more interesting. New Year, New Products

To start off 2017 with a bang we are pleased to announce we have 2 NEW Namgrass products and additional improvements to 4 existing products to meet the needs of our customers. We love these new products and hope you do too.

New Artificial Grass Products 2017

Breeze

With a 45mm pile height and unique open structure, this product has been designed to completely contrast some of our most popular products by offering a rather more wild look and therefore more natural looking.

Fusion

Fusion has a 20mm pile height, but a dense multi-toned thatch zone which makes this grass look perfectly neat and well trimmed. An all-round great looking, great value product for those on a tight budget.

Improvements to existing products

We’ve listened to our customers and have updated some products to be as fantastic as possible.

Eclipse 2017

Finer fibres featuring ‘micro nerve’ profiled fibres, and a softer feel with a higher pile height of 30mm.

Horizon

This has a slightly more ‘open’ structure to it making it more natural looking.

Meadow

A more uniform look to it with the addition of curled fibres to add more density.

Vision

A more uniform look to it with the addition of curled fibres to add more density as well as a reduction in shine.

Namgrass wins at the Golden Bridge Awards

On Thursday 25^th November, the Namgrass team from Belgium and the UK travelled to the Belgian Embassy in London for the 20th annual Golden Bridge Trade & Export Awards.

They are one of Europe’s most prestigious awards which recognises the trade and export success of UK companies doing business in Belgium, and Belgian & Luxembourg companies doing business in the UK.

Earlier this year Namgrass Directors Stefaan Rossel and Robert Redcliffe were invited to present to a judging panel which included the Ambassador of Belgium and the Economic & Commercial Counsellor for Brussels to name but a few!

For those on the outside looking at the prospect of being a professional golfer, it seems like living a dream. The truth is that it’s a very tough world and with the exception of a few individuals it can be a very competitive and difficult way to make a living. When David from Henry Thomas Garden Design decided to leave the world of professional golf, it’s fair to say his future was looking a little uncertain. After years of dedication to the game, he loved the big question was what to do next?

As the football season is due to kick-off the teams and players are getting ready and so are we…We are proud to announce that we are the artificial grass supplier for Sky’s Soccer AM. The Soccer AM team were looking to replace the tired looking artificial grass for their ‘Top Bin’ feature and had approached a number of companies to be their supplier.

Namgrass came top of the league for its high-quality product and service. Spanning 500sqm of concrete surface and a high traffic area through to the studio, the space needed a very hard-wearing product to handle the crowds and that’s why Namgrass Green Vision was used. ITV’s Love Your Garden and Namgrass

At Namgrass, we try to give back to the community as much as possible. In this year’s series of ITV’s Love Your Garden, we were lucky enough to be involved in a garden design project lead by Alan Titchmarsh, David Domoney and their team.

Tilly Sawford, a burns patient since she was very young, had been nominated by the medics at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham where she has been receiving treatment. Tilly’s home was being modified to allow easier wheelchair access in the home and the garden wasn’t a priority for the busy family of seven.

The nomination really was a blessing and Alan and the team created a beautiful, functional and safe playing environment for the children (and adults!).

Garden Design

The garden was sectioned off into different areas for the family with the summerhouse as the focal point, it also had a shepherds hut and a fairy garden for the girls and a football penalty area for the older boys which was created for them using Green Vision – our most hard-wearing grass suitable for a spaces that will see a lot of action!

We also provided the grass flooring to the ‘Dangerous Den’ – a perfect addition to add a bit of comfort and brightness to that area. The design of the garden really allows for the whole family to have their own space but to come together in the summerhouse which acts as a crafts area and dining room to make more special memories as a family. Just fab!
